Mary’s Bio
Mary is a life-long resident of Toledo, Ohio. She has been working on her drawings and paintings for the past 30 years. She works primarily in charcoal, liquid acrylics and watercolor. She went to the University of Toledo to earn a B.Ed. in Art Education and a Masters degree in Art History. She taught for 16 years at Southview High School in Sylvania. After retiring from teaching, Mary has continued to create and exhibit her own artwork, receiving awards for her effort. She also works with clients who commission her art for their homes and offices as well as creating her own art. She is a member of Athena Art Society and the Toledo Women’s Art League at the Toledo Artist’s Club. Mary works from her studio at Common Space, 1700 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo.
