Ann’s Bio

Ann Vreeland was originally in the class of 1974 at Adrian College in Michigan.  After a lengthy hiatus, during which she raised her family she returned to Adrian College, earning a Bachelor of Art degree in 1997, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2000.

Ms. Vreeland is currently the sole proprietor of Sisters Seaside Ceramics, a micro pottery focusing on non-functional ceramics.  Vreeland also teaches ceramics at her studio in Bryan, Ohio and at the Marco Island Center for the Arts in Florida.  She, and her husband Howard, are residents of Marco Island and live part time in Bryan. 

She very much enjoys exploring the world of clay and its many facets including design, construction and the technicalities of the firing process.

Her work has been sold at several juried art shows including Annapolis, Maryland; Hilton Head, South Carolina; Toledo, Ohio; and Glenview, Illinois.  Ann’s work is currently shown at Fuller Art House in Sylvania, Ohio, The Orchard Gallery and Ruth Koomler Art Gallery in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and the Marco Island Center for the Arts in Marco Island, Florida.
