Kay’s Bio
Color comes from within. When I am painting, I turn to my feelings and inner intuition. I have always been able to paint with expression; my style is recognizable but I am always changing and experimenting.
Kay Weprin is an active artist based in Toledo, Ohio with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Art Education degrees from the University of Toledo. She is a past president of Athena Art Society. Weprin’s oil pastel and mixed media artworks form part of numerous permanent collections, including that of ProMedica Toledo Hospital, which recently acquired and installed in Jobst Tower, Weprin’s 4′ x 7ft ‘Flying Over the Equator.’
