Liga’s Bio

I was introduced to painting in 2009, when I had the opportunity to enroll in watercolor classes at the Toledo Museum of Art. Since then I have participated in a variety of workshops in the area as well in Venice Florida. From there I joined the Toledo Artists' Club, where I have also been a member of the board and gallery director. In 2011 I began to enter shows and several of my paintings even won awards! This year my painting "Safari" was accepted into the Ohio Watercolor Society Annual Show. I am an intuitive painter and my style leans towards representational interpretation. Birches and nature scenes are my favorites, however I am also discovering the world of abstracts.
